H Clenz displays the emotional traits of a true Cancer by displaying loyalty, creativeness, and passion. CLenz is not only an abbreviated version of his real name but also a metaphor for his state of mind. The California born, military raised Atlanta native, has traveled across the country and overseas enough times to record vivid experiences. I used to write girls or "pen pals" over the world, and once puberty hit I was writing poems which eventually evolved into songs. Better known as one of the original members of Dukes of DaVille, this dynamic performer holds nothing back on his first debut, which he describes as a compilation of emotions. With the vocal texture of John Legend and swagger of Prince he combines the nostalgic feel of the 80s with the ever important timeless lyricism. Under his birth name Cedric Lindsey, has synched licenses with televised networks such as ABC, MTV, BRAVO, CW, Sony pictures, 20th Century Fox, Alliance films and etc. While earning these significant credits, Clenz graduated with a bachelors in visual communications, certifiably making him a true renaissance man. Music is art but when coupled with elements such as; struggle, love, tension, desire, and passion, the results spill out of the pages to paint beautiful songs. I've been blessed to bring to fruition these things with a few extremely talented producers. It's easy to give credit when credit is due, but I feel its the rest of the world that should be more aware of these "diamonds in the ruff".
